Are you browse Firefox 3.1 Beta 1, if not so please wait for Beta 2, it allows users to browse the web in a private mode. The Firefox 3.1 beta 2 is scheduled for release on November 21. The private browsing feature is naughtily called ‘porn mode’ and also exists in other browsers-Safari, Chrome, and Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 with the respective names Private Browsing, Incognito, and InPrivate.
The Private Browsing can be activated by ticking Tools>Private Browsing. To make sure that Firefox always starts in the Private Browsing mode, type “about:config” in the address bar. Then, add “browser.privatebrowsing.autostart” in the Filter box and toggle the resultant entry value from “false” to “true.”
Of note, private doesn’t mean anonymous. This feature only excludes the recording of browser, search, download, web form, cookies, and temporary internet files history, but the bookmarked sites and the downloaded files will still exist. The current Firefox version allows for the cleaning of all private data (hit CTRL+Shift+Del) to remove all evidence of surfing history.
With features like a faster JavaScript engine, geolocation, and now private browsing, Firefox 3.1 is likely to be the next most awaited version of the Firefox browser.
Hopefully, we get more feature regarding security.
